Unique fighting in this Xbox 360 game
Xbox 360 game Ion Assault is a greatly innovative and intelligent game that is quite similar to the classic arcade space shooters. This one could be dismissed as another of the many games that were trying to take advantage of the dual stick bandwagon. However, those who are willing to lay their hands on the controllers will know immediately that this game is designed with a lot of hard work and requires more than a ‘piece of cake’ attitude to be finished. The game’s style is more or less similar to the regular ones around. You fly through space in your space ship as you remain as precise as possible while exploding hurdles in the form of meteoroids and asteroids. However, there is more to this game with the addition of various kinds of creatures and beings that have their own different characteristics and powers. You will not be able to simply do away with them in a single technique.
Each of their kind has its own way and style of attacking. Some might chase you at full speed around the arena. Others might simply hide and with stealth attack you when the time is right. The game gets very fun when you realize that it is quite challenging and fun with the innovative and surprisingly unique battle style. Here, you also find that the voice might do a bit of harm to the game’s effectiveness. Although not recommendable to the newcomers, this Xbox game is a must play.
