The Path is a video game that most games dare not be. This game might lose out of many impatient gamers who might find this another boring and slow progressing mindless game with no purpose. However, those fortunate enough to wait and see how the game unfolds will know the depth and treasures this game offers.
We take the skin of a young girl in a pack of six with six parallel paths of fate. This game is weird in the sense that you might not know what you have to do, where you have to go and so on. In fact, this game tries to make you realize the meaning present in life and death in such a surreal and intelligent manner.
The graphics here are well designed to create the clear idea of something lurking every turn you take, or something lurking behind your mind yet. There is a sense of fear that the game exudes while not being a horror game outright on the surface. The makers have tagged this as horror, but you might not find the exact horrific imagery in this game that you may have come to expect from the others in this genre. However, this is horror none the less. And an intelligent one at that.
Things happen to the story just by simply going about it not expecting the big bang to happen. The impatient lot might feel frustrated as it’s not fast action and results. However, this video game satisfies the open minded none the less.
