The Beatles: Rock Band - Preview

Wannabe vocalists’ dream The Beatles: Rock Band will come true on September 9 as MTV Games release the much-awaited music game for Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii platforms. Beatles’ Rock Band is all about the legendary tracks composed by immensely popular band- The Beatles.

Developers Harmonix are busy publicizing the game. Many popular gaming sites including GameSpot, IGN have reported about the game recently. Developers had already announced ten songs for the game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. This time, 15 new tracks have been added to the game. The tracks include popular ones like Twist and Shot, Eight Days a Week, Yellow Submarine, Dig a Pony, etc.

Players will definitely enjoy the experience of playing these tracks on respective consoles. Vocalists need to be skilled to identify somewhat complex lines played in the background. Vocal Training Mode featured in the game is extremely helpful in that case. It will teach you looping a part from any song and memorize it. You can use this help during your next performance.

You can freely switch characters in the game. For example, if you wish to switch from a harmony vocal to the lead singer while performing, you can do so without any penalty. You will be given a feedback from game after your performance. Interactive gameplay will feature certain parts of a song in different colour to let you know where you must pay attention. Overall, the game looks pretty similar to Rock Band 2 and looks amazing.
